Coolsculpting is amazing and I can say without a doubt that it works! I got the privilege of being selected to attend Cool U, Allergan’s CoolSculpting University in Reston Virginia. While the weather was a little chilly, the learning experience was top-notch. Whether you have been a CoolSculpting provider for six months or six years, this training is a must!

Although CoolSculpting may sound new to you, it got its FDA clearance in 2009. To date, there have been more than 8 million treatments worldwide. The concept of CoolSculpting was based off of a phenomenon called Popsicle Panniculitis. This is where children were experiencing the loss of fat in their cheeks after sucking on popsicles, leaving them with dimples. Who knew that losing fat could be so easy?

The training team at CoolSculpting University gave us the opportunity to perfect our Treat to Transformation assessments. In addition, the trainers educated the class on new techniques for greater results and patient comfort.
During the hands on training there were several models for the class to assess and prep for treatment. We got to glove up, get our markers out and squeeze some fat! CoolSculpting treats more than just the abdomen; we spent a lot of focus time on outer thighs, arms and jawline area.

My favorite part of the trip was learning success stories and pearls of wisdom from other CoolSculpting providers across the country. All in All the trip was wonderful and I learned some new tips to bring back to Artisan Beaute.
