For first-time patients interested in receiving laser skin treatment in Atlanta, we require you to first make an appointment for a consultation with one of our expert Artisan Beauté providers. Be sure to alert the team if you have had laser skin treatment previously.

Prior to your laser skin treatment, we recommend that you:

  • Refrain from applying retinol, vitamin C, exfoliants or astringents to your treatment area for 7 days
  • Drink plenty of water and stay well hydrated for 7 days
  • Avoid medications that cause photosensitivity for 7 days, if possible
  • Plan ahead for any downtime that your chosen laser treatment may require
  • Refrain from physical activity for a few hours before your appointment
  • Arrive for your appointment with no makeup, lotions, creams, or ointments on your skin

Lasers & Light Post-Care

When you receive laser skin treatment in Atlanta, it’s essential to follow your Artisan provider’s post-care instructions for optimal results and safe healing.

After your treatment, we recommend the following:

  • Stay well-hydrated to support the healing process.
  • Avoid picking at blisters or flaky skin, as these are part of natural healing.
  • Apply SPF 30+ daily for 30 days to protect your skin from direct sunlight.
  • Refrain from strenuous exercise for 3 days.
  • Avoid hot environments, such as saunas, hot tubs, or hot showers, for 3 days.

Lasers & Light Results

After your laser skin treatment at Artisan Beauté, you’ll start to notice initial results within 2 to 10 days. Full results, including softened wrinkles, improved texture, reduced scarring and age spots will become visible as your skin fully heals.

The results of your laser treatment can last several months, depending on your skin’s maintenance and overall health. Using medical-grade skincare products and applying SPF 30+ daily can help extend the benefits.
