Moxi Pre-Care

As you prepare for your Moxi appointment, we recommend that you:

  • Do not spend time in the sun or use tanning beds or self tanners for 14 days
  • Use gentle cleansers and skin moisturizers for 14 days
  • Drink plenty of water and stay fully hydrated for at least 7 days
  • Refrain from using skincare products containing retinol, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, AHAs, LHAs, and benzoyl peroxide for 4 days
  • Inform your provider if you have a history of cold sores

Moxi Post-Care

When you come in for a treatment with the Moxi laser in Atlanta, it’s important to follow any post-care assigned to you by our team. This ensures the best possible results for patients.

After a Moxi resurfacing treatment, we recommend that you:

  • Avoid sun exposure for 14 days
  • Refrain from exfoliating, scrubbing or rubbing the treatment area for 14 days
  • Avoid excessive heat (whirlpools, saunas, hot showers/baths, etc.) for 7 days
  • Do not apply makeup for 24 hours
  • Use only medical grade skin care products
