VI Peel: Original

This version of VI Peel works best for most skin concerns. It helps improve tone and texture, mild hyperpigmentation, and early signs of aging. It’s a great place to start if you want to try your first peel. 

VI Peel Advanced

With a more intense formula than the Original VI peel, the Advanced peel offers deeper rejuvenation to reduce visible signs of aging, like wrinkles and sagging. The ingredients in this formula penetrate deeper into the skin for more intense renewal. Patients can expect more recovery time as each layer of skin is refreshed.

Precision Plus

This formula delivers excellent results for patients with hyperpigmentation concerns. The unique formula directly targets the melanin buildups that cause dark spots, post-inflammatory redness, and more! We can also pair it with the Purify formula designed to clear active acne and cleanse oily or congested skin.

Preparing for Your VI Peel

We typically book in advance to give patients time to prepare for their VI peel. Before your peel, your Beauté provider reviews some pointers. Before your peel:

  • Limit sun exposure and don’t self-tan for at least 14 or more days.
  • Avoid using retinoids, exfoliating creams, and products containing glycolic acid for 7 days.
  • Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated for 7 days.
  • Refrain from waxing, tweezing or shaving the area to be treated for 3 days.
  • Use a mild cleanser for a few days leading up to the facial peel.

Depending on the type of peel recommended by your provider, we may require you to do a pre-treatment with specific products to prepare your skin.

VI Peel Post-Care

Immediately following your VI peel in Atlanta, we apply an initial mask to reduce irritation and improve the first part of the healing process. We’ll also discuss any required at-home care for complete results.

  • Only use gentle cleansers when washing the skin.
  • Use medical grade skin products and strict sun protection on the face.
  • Refrain from picking or peeling off any flaking skin.
  • Avoid places or activities that create excess heat for at least 3 days.

Proper care before, during and after your VI peel ensures the best results possible.

What to Expect After Your VI Peel

In the days following your VI peel, you can expect some light to moderate skin sloughing and redness. Our recommended skincare minimizes the impact of both while promoting healthy healing. For a fresher feeling, radiant look, different types of peels come with different maintenance needs.

  • Light peels last up to a month.
  • Medium peels show results up to 3-5 months.
  • Deep peels usually last 6-8 months.

Regular peels help your natural skin cell turnover, which reverses signs of acne, aging, and discoloration. To make the most of these effects, we’ll also discuss how to care for your skin and build a regimen designed to suit your needs and lifestyle. We also factor in other treatments for a complete plan to meet any additional goals.
