Dr. Santosa’s journey to becoming a leading plastic surgeon began with a solid foundation in education and training. She completed her undergraduate studies and medical school education at Washington University in St. Louis, where she received multiple accolades and merit-based scholarships. Through her achievements at Washington University in medical school, she was matched at one of the best, most rigorous training programs in plastic surgery in the nation. At the University of Michigan, received robust training in all facets of plastic and reconstructive surgery and continued to contribute to the plastic surgery literature publishing over 70 peer-reviewed articles. After completed plastic surgery training at the University of Michigan, she spent a year of additional advanced fellowship surgical training with world renowned aesthetic plastic surgeon, Dr. Foad Nahai, where she further developed expertise in facial rejuvenation, aesthetic breast surgery, body contouring and minimally invasive approaches to plastic surgery.
